Sales and Earnings Graph
The Graph screen displays a graphic representation of sales, earnings and stock prices for the past seven years. Stock Partner draws a straight line between all sales data points and another line between all earnings data points. Regression analysis is used by Stock Partner to generate lines that are the closest fit mathematically to the sales and earnings data. The slopes of these lines are the growth rates of sales and earnings. Unlike many other growth rate calculations which use only the first year and last year to calculate prior growth, Stock Partner uses all available data points to calculate the most accurate growth rates. |
